If there's anything at all daunting about the prospect of dating the Queen of Hell, former or otherwise, it's entirely countered by the sound of Sabrina's voice, the way it feels to have her pressed close like this. It might be impossibly far from anything she ever imagined, but that's not at all a bad thing. Nothing that feels like this could be. And maybe, some distant part of her mind thinks, maybe it's a good thing that the respective shit they've been through is so wildly different. Everything with Rue always hit way too close to home, making it so that she never even felt like she could talk about any of that. It's different here, freeing in the best way.

She wants to tell Sabrina everything about her own past, all the baggage she's carried around with her. More than that, though, she really wants to keep kissing her girlfriend, which is what she starts to do, before the sound of the alarm intervenes.

"Fucking Purge," she says, sounding entirely put-out by the inconvenience. "Do you need to double check any... spells, or anything?"
