"Maybe you aren't meant for it," he says honestly, considering. "Traditional education as it stands, I mean. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. You're not a traditional girl, love, and that's not a bad thing."

Marcus hadn't attended high school. He had been educated solely through the Catholic Church and he knows some would argue that isn't much of an education at all, but he had taken care of the rest of it himself.

"Do you think you can get through the year?" he asks.
